microsoft is shuting down Hotmail and will be replaced to outlook.com !!

Microsoft announced that Hotmail will no longer exist in 2013 and will move all their emails and data to their new service the outlook.com
so my concern is if i changed to outlook.com does that mean i can move my steam account automatically or i should do that manually through steam and change the e mail address their .
p.s English is not my native tongue so no need for lecture :)

Hotmail won't be closing. It will still exist and run right along side Outlook.com.

I think I read somewhere that wnidows live messenger is at least one of the programs going but its been replaced with a joining of skype.
