Trading Games?
Hello,

This could be a stupid question, but I couldn't find the answer here right away so I'll just ask. I'm seeing a lot of discussions about people wanting to trade games. My question is how to trade games and what restrictions are there?
- Can I trade games I have already finished or only if the codes were never used?
- Can I trade Steam games or only gift them if bought new?

Thx

You can't trade it once it is in your library.

Games in you Librrary can not be traded. Only games in your inventory can be traded. After a game is added to your Library, it is there for life.

Key can not be added to your inventory, only to you Library.

So, to question one:

Only if never used. If it is added to you Libray, it is considered used, reguardless if you have ever played it.

Question two:

Games bought through Steam can bee added to your inventory during the check out process. When you are given the option to buy as a gift or your self, choose gift. Next screen will ask who you want to give it to. There is an option to put it in your inventory listed there.
