Arkham City xlive.dll file missing
I downloaded arkham city GOTY the other day and when i click on play it show the regular preparing to play.... popup as usual then after maybe 2 seconds it dissappears. so i click on the option to configure pc options and then i click play on that popup and it tells me that it failed to run because the xlive.dll file was missing and that redownloading may fix it. well i redownloaded it twice and it still gives me the same error HELP!

Go to gfwl.com and download the most recent client.

If using windows 8 I think you need to download it from the Windows Store.

you can also copy paste the xlive.dll files from the SysWOW64 folder to the System32 folder, then run CMD.exe as admin and type "regsvr32.exe xlive.dll"
Worked for me.

That just means you dont have the windows game client installed on your system.

Go there, download/install and all will be well.
