Strafe Lag/'Ice Skating' Feeling on CS:GO
Hi Everyone,

I downloaded CS:GO awhile ago on my laptop, and ever since I've been experiencing an annoying 'ice skating' feeling whenever I strafe. Specifically, whenever I strafe my character goes another meter or so than wanted.

I know that you're supposed to hit the opposite button whenever you strafe to stop/balance your movement, but this strafe lag/ice skating feeling is definitely abnormal. I suspect it is because of my laptop in general.

Is there any way to fix/improve it in any way? Playing CS:GO at a competitive level is near impossible with this delay. Here are my laptop specs:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00 GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
12.0 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M
Windows 7 (if that helps)
64-bit Operating System
ASUS G74Sx

If I need to post anything else to help let me know! Thank you guys very much for your time and consideration reading my post. Hopefully I can figure something out to improve/fix this strafe lag/ice skating.

Jay

I also turned down all of my settings to the very minimum in game and reduced my resolution on my actual computer. I tried to set up an auto exec thing as well, and change some launch options, but I'm not too sure if that worked out.
