Steam Error Code: -324
Running into more and more problems this days.
Now, if i try buying a game, actually adding it to the cart, i get the error -324, which comes generally quite often when i browse the store. This goes only for the steam application itself.
So i tried it with google chrome, there it works, but once its in the cart i cant get to pay for it. It just keeps saying working. Sometimes i get :

There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance

With firefox the button appears but the message above comes all the time, so cant buy either.

I do have enough funds. I am really clueless what isn't working here. Any help would be very kind.

Hey,
I've just been having this problem to.. I restarted my computer and restarted steam itself as well, didn't work though. Luckily I remembered I upgraded my security with avast, so I disabled it for 10 minuets and it worked! I don't know if this will work for you but give it a go, just disable any anti-virus software and firewalls.

That actually seem to have done the trick. ( Needed 4 tries to load this page haha )
No idea why i didn't even think about turning it off.
Thank you Official.UK!

unfortunately im running MS Endpoint protection and its happening with me as well :(.
not sure if i can disable MS system center endpoint protection and not sure if i want to.

surely this is a valve problem and they need to update / fix the problem rather than have users disable their protection.

This problem has existed for quite some time and has slowly been getting worse and worse to the point that the steam client is unusable for me now.

was only able to come here and post with Google chrome

the only page i can view in my steam client is my library

Error 324 is a generic 'web' error. Aka its a local networking issue because the broweser cant hit the site. Usually this is a router configuration issue, or you have malware that's hijacking the DNS
