Like If I wanna trade with someone games the would rather see it in my steam inventory than I tell them I got a key for a game.
People will think it's maybe a scam or something like that.
I'm gone get the GMG bundle but I will most likely not play xcom since it's not my type of game so I would have probably traded it with someone for tf2 items.
But ok I guess you can't add it to ur inventory ill probably have to try to confince people that I'm trustworthy...to trade with.
Why would they?
It is a perk and incentive to buy from Steam. If you don't buy it from them, then they get no money from the sale.
By allowing it, you can get game cheap elswhere (Keys from Russia are realy cheap) and trade the game to people, taking the profit from Steam and lessening the profit to the Developers.
Anyway, take it easy.
I'll try anyway to trade a xcom key for some tf2 items someone will trust me....at some point xD
