Go to the Developer's web site and let them know.

Remember, this is an alpha. The game isn't even guaranteed to run, let alone run correctly.

It is ment to find all the bus in the system. Chanes are they will have a bug report form or give you instructions on what information to send them.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_release_life_cycle

The alpha phase of the release life cycle is the first phase to begin software testing (alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet, used as the number 1). In this phase, developers generally test the software using white box techniques. Additional validation is then performed using black box or gray box techniques, by another testing team. Moving to black box testing inside the organization is known as alpha release.[2]

Alpha software can be unstable and could cause crashes or data loss. External availability of alpha software is uncommon in proprietary software. However, open source software, in particular, often have publicly available alpha versions, often distributed as the raw source code of the software. The alpha phase usually ends with a feature freeze, indicating that no more features will be added to the software. At this time, the software is said to be feature complete.

Don't buy Alphas if you don't know how to handle them. You realize you bought a game that is STILL IN DEVELOPMENT, right?

If you think you found a bug, file a bug report like the rest of us Arma3 alpha users do.

love how people ♥♥♥♥♥ at you for asking for help instead of giving you an answer or just shutting the ♥♥♥♥ up.

Potential solution from Roboo -

1) Add -nobenchmark to launch options
2) launch in windowed mode
3) just leave the window alone, go and do something else for a few mins
4) come back and it should of loaded
5)You can change it to fullscreen when ingame with no problems (but always launch in Windowed)
6) enjoy

The OP thinks he bought a working game. Someone needed to clue him in.

Nice how your "solution" has no mention of reporting bugs, his or yours, which is the whole point of buying the Alpha.
i know it has promblerms i was asking a question on if the delux pack could have a bug or if it was just me

It's hard to say since you didn't provide us with any details about the problem -- just that the game stopped working. Alphas tend to do that because they are still in development and are regularly updated with new code, fixes, and other bits.

If you have specifics, I stand by my original advice and suggest filing a bug report so BI can check it out. A bug report takes just a minute or two. Once BI knows about it, they can investigate and report back to you.
This game was listed for purchase on the store, but why if it is Alpha testing would they sell it? They say they will not refund it or credit my account! My computer is brand new and this was my son's game he bought and he was unaware it was an Alpha and thought that the "Alpha" was part of the name in the game. I have corresponded with Steam and they do not seem to be responsive. Anyone else had this issue? Why have a game available for purchase if it is not even guaranteed to work? Not right to me and I will be making sure it doesn't happen to others.

Good luck with that. The product description couldn't be any clearer. Tell your son to read about games before buying them.
