I started using it a couple of days ago and it's really good.
Greenmangaming also sends me an EMail when they have sales.
Steam on it's own doesn't send EMails; wishlist doesn't work very well for me since I usually put games there when I see them and think they might be interesting, which often happens during a sale since that's when I take a look at games... thus, I'm not only interested in wishlisted games, but I'm even more interested in sales for games that I've never looked at before.
That doesn't always work. There have been a few times where games in my Wishlist were on sale, yet Steam never sent an email confirmation.
That site works for your wishlist. You just have to import your wishlist in and it sends you emails when they go on sale.

I follow the latter. This way, I get all the deals, also all the new releases and fun stuff like Steam Universe announcements.
Yes I do. But I want notifications on titles I may not remember now but am aware of. I saw Batman games on sale now and bought them. I just want to know every time Steam has a sale to email me.
