If you did everything on your end to fix it, it maybe time to consider letting a professional fix it. Take it like to best buy or a pc repair place and let them figure it out.
It’s possible that there’s an issue with the controller’s thumbstick calibration, specifically a dead zone or sensitivity issue on the right stick. Some games and software allow you to adjust the dead zones or sensitivity, so try tweaking those settings and see if that resolves the problem.
Test with Another Game:
Try using the controller in a different game to see if the issue persists. This will help determine if the problem is specific to a certain game or if it's a more general controller issue.
Update Controller Drivers:
Even if you’ve tried different controllers, make sure the drivers are up-to-date. Sometimes outdated or corrupt drivers can cause strange behavior. You can update them through the Device Manager or through the Xbox Accessories app.
Check for Interference:
If you are using a wireless controller, try using a wired connection instead. Sometimes, wireless interference or weak signal can cause odd behavior, even if it’s not noticeable with other directions.
Revert Steam Input Settings:
In Steam’s Big Picture mode, try resetting your controller configuration. Sometimes custom configurations or Steam Input settings can cause issues. Go to Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings, and disable any unnecessary configurations like Xbox Configuration Support or PlayStation Configuration Support.
Test in Windows Game Controller Settings:
Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Right-click on your controller > Game Controller Settings > Properties. Test the right stick here and see if it behaves differently compared to the left stick. If it shows a slow response only on the right side here, it might be a hardware issue with the controller.
Check for Software Conflicts:
If you have any third-party software installed (such as game optimization software, overlays, or peripherals with their own settings), try disabling them temporarily to see if there’s any conflict causing the issue.
Reinstall Steam:
If none of the above works, try reinstalling Steam completely. It's possible that something within the Steam configuration or files is causing this issue, and a fresh install could help.
Hopefully, one of these solutions helps you fix the issue with the slow aiming on the right side. If it persists, it could be worth checking if the issue is more related to the game itself or the controller hardware.
