Changed my Gmail but I forgot my Password
My email was deleted and I could not recover it. I have a new email now but I also forgot my password and did not link a phone number. I used gift cards to fund my account but I threw those out after using them, unaware I would run into these problems. I have tried using the steam support but it keeps saying I failed the captcha and to contact support. Please help, thank you.

You need to be logged out of all accounts to start recover process.

I would look into using a proper password manager like KeePass or BitWarden, anything is good. I think you're going to find account recovery or losing an account is extremely frustrating. And your memory isn't going to be reliable, and there's no need to invent bogus account management schemes. Create an account, put it in the password manager and keep it updated. You'll never lose access to an account again if you're consistent using the password manager. Trust me, it's great.

In the case of Steam, you can also store the backup recovery codes you should have generated when you set up Steam Guard.
If you bought Steam games from other websites that keep track of them, that could help too. :GamepadWow:
Alright, thank you

I would never use a password manager. Your best friend is a notebook next to your pc. Those password managers can be hacked into.
