Steam stuck at Connection on new PC

Hi, i just got a new PC, I have only installed Firefox and Steam, and Steam is blocked at a loading screen with the logo when i Login.
I have all drivers up to date.

I have checked similar issues and stil have the problem.

I tried to move the userdata folder method.
I tried to Launch with -tcp and -clearbeta method.
I tried with username/password and QR Code login
I tried to uninstall and reinstall Steam, rebooting pc,…

Any idea ? Its very annoying…

Did I miss something ? I never had an issue to connect on Steam even on New Device… especially new as fresh install

Okay so after some hours of loading while i was at work:
I have Steam friends that loaded and is online but the Steam client gives « something went wrong while displaying this content. Error reference : client login_xxxxxxx. Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘GetPlayer’)

Update: I managed to crash Steam web helper and it asked me how to restart Steam. I selected « reboot without GPU acceleration » and it worked.

You can disable "GPU acceleration accelerated rendering" via Steam -> Settings -> Interface.

I did that yes.
But now i can login but Steam randomly loose connection so i loose friends and community

Did you ever fix this? I'm having the same issue and can't fix it.

Nope, I'm using WiFi 7 instead of Ethernet and I'm not having the issue, strange behavior.
I have X870 Aorus Gigabyte Elite 7 as MB

So does Steam work on that machine via Ethernet?

Yup works fine on the previous PC.
On this one I can navigate on the web with Ethernet but sometimes it drops me SSL errors like if there were packets drops

SSL errors can be caused by incorrect time; check clock and CMOS battery.

I checked that already too but it would happen on WiFi also, right?

Could it be your new pc's virus scanner blocking some action done by steam? I know some virus scanners like ESET are very picky about installing stuff. I ran into this issue when formatting a friend's pc while trying to upload some new updates to their pc. I suggest allowing steam to bypass the firewall if you can and see if that fixes the issue. Be aware windows OS also has a firewall you may need to also allow steam to bypass.

It's fresh install I didn't install any AV and immediately tried without AV & FW activated for the test and still have the issue on Ethernet :/

Windows security automatically turns on Fire Wall though. So make sure it is allowing steam to go thru. Also which OS are you using? It is easier to turn it off depending on which OS your using. I also have some other ideas to help you, but again, it depends on your OS your using. Please post what OS your using.
