Account Recovery
I have my User name, as well as password. When i log in it asks to send a verification via steam guard to the email used. I do not have access to this email linked with steam guard. My yahoo account was DEACTIVATED. According to yahoo, the account can't be reactivated. I'm prompted to create new. Which mind you cant replicate the old email username. So now I'm in a pit and the AI automated steam support continuously asks for credit card info of purchases made or CD Key copys.... This account was from 2012... I have absoluetely no way of tracking down Card information used or a cd key that was sent to me through my email upon purchasing. (Which i cant access) I have PLENTY of other information used that should be able to allow verification that it's my account. Like billing addresses used at the time, billing names. previous aliases. The account is private and i can confidently give accurate numbers of in game hours on specific games. Information no one else would know.. I've made this account last year because i had up given. The amount of games purchased and Counter Strike skins obtained as well as like personal records I care about is crazy and i figured i would continue to try. I can't find any official email or call number to speak to an actual person in hopes to get it sqaured away, only AI. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This was a childhood account with countless memories and probably $500-$1000 in purchases. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link, but i have been through every step listed and reached out to the AI automated responding steam support service. To no prevail.. As I have already said it is impossible to find a CD key or Credit card credentials since the account was last active in 2012. 13 years ago.... CD keys would be sent to email on file that i dont have access to and the credit card was 13 years old and any normal person has had 3 new cards in that time span.

You have to provide the approrpiate proof of ownership. Otherwise Steam can give any account away to anyone
I suppose if it wasn't an automated message I could accept that. But given the information I have i mean come on.. a steam employee should be able to take a couple hours and be able to confirm without any doubt that it's mine. I have all of the private information on the billing credentials. How is anyone suppose to reasonably remember a bank card. CD key is literally off the table without access to the email. Like i can provide entire proof of yahoo claiming the account was deactivated. I completely understand steam isn't going to just give away an account, but I have not Forgotten any information or done any wrong actions other than being inactive.
I used steam gaurd to ensure account safety. I upheld my precautions to ensure the safety, why isn't steam gaurd ? An email address becoming inactive (Deactivated) is beyond my control.
I suppose one could say i didnt uphold it by writing my CD key's down on paper but thats not where im getting at. I have overhelming info... Im confident a steam support could match and confirm verification. Just frustrating being on an automated loop with no response.

Note that if you wont provide steam with the appropriate proof of ownership they will not give an account away to some random person.

Yahoo does not deactivate emails 'at random' and is absolutely under your control

If you dont have a certain type of proof anymore such as the CD keys, just ask support if there is anything else you can provide instead as proof of ownership.
Ownership is required or anyone could claim a random person's account. Would you want someone to take your account just because they know what you bought on it?

Clearly judging from your several comments on several posts you're not here to help and just to ridicule people seeking help lol. Ive seen about 5 threads you've commented on being incredibly rude. If you would have read my post the slightest you'd know i never once so it was deactivated for "No apparent reason" I very clearly stated the reason was due to inactivity of several years. 13 years to be exact, as stated already.

see thats what the route im trying to go through, but it doesn't seem like i can get a steam member to actually read the ticket and its shuffled out with the automated responses.

Once again i already said i can completely understand that and that's why its in place. With that being said i have very many other forms of completely private information that could verify the account. Such as proof of email deactivation, billing address on used card information, phone numbers used, accurate hours of in game time played ( Account is private, these are facts not seen to public), Ive got all usernames used as well as passwords, no information was lost. If a steam member simply said hey man I'm sorry we can't do it due to like terms and policies gotcha, i understand i give up. But only response has been from bots. Still hopeful
