Random music from "Steam Client Web Helper"
Just lately, while I am trying to record videos or just browsing, loud random music clips start playing (drowning out the soundtrack). I eventually caught "Steam Client Web Helper" in my audio controls and when I turned down the volume for that in Task Manager the music went away. The Steam Help Desk claim it's nothing to do with them and happily point the finger at OS, Sound Card, Video driver... just about anyone else. But this is a brand new gaming machine and all drivers and OS are set to automatic updates. Anyone else been getting this ???

2 things you can try...

Steam > Settings > In Game >>> Delete Web Browser Data

RMB click on the game in Library > Properties > General > In-Game Overlay Data >>> Delete

:nkCool:
Windows 11 Os has a sound issue with music volume set at 100% volume. it may have something to do with it.
