Notice the upper right section on the list of badges you have. It tells you how many card drops you have left.
The drops are random, but the number of cards you will get is fixed.
Strange, RE5 only has 9 cards in the set. That means you can only get 5 drops.
How did you get 9?
RE6 has 6 cards in the set, which means you get 3 drops.
i think you didn't read my question properly as it seems, i said that i have received 9 duplicated trading cards which means that i have received the first 3 trading cards and then received for each of those 3, 3 additional duplicated trading cards.
As I said in my first post, the drop interval and what card you get is random, but the total drop you will get is fixed.
You can get the same cards more than once, even 9 times if you are still eligible. Yes, it is possible. That is what it means to be 'random'.
2. yep, that's exactly what most people are saying lol
3. "random" for me personally means that it is really random but in my case or in my second case it isn't at all.. why would this happen 2 times in a row, that i A and B happens 2 times with 2 different games in a row..
I read it correctly.
You can't receive 9 trading cards through drops in RE5.
but i'll help you; "and received 9 duplicated trading cards" i did NOT say "and received 9 trading cards"!
You keep saying you received 9 cards.
Tell us which cards you got, exactly.
Ex... 1, 2, 3, 3, 3...
but again; "and received 9 duplicated trading cards" and NOT "and received 9 trading cards"!
i received 3 duplicated trading cards for each 3 already received trading cards.
So, 6 cards in total, correct?
Where did 9 come from?
And how can you get 6 when the most you can get is 5 from a set that contains 9 in total? 1/2 + 1 for odd numbered sets.
Any game has an amount of cards for a set. Let's for argument's sake say an example game has 10. So this means through regular play you'll earn ANY 5 and that's it. You cannot earn any more for that game through play. These 5 can be duplicates as they are purely ranomdly chosen.
Now, when someone else crafts a badge for that game it creates a Booster Pack f three cards which randomly goes to anyone logged in that week.
Now here's the kicker - if your STeam level is higher, you get a slightly increased chance of getting that Booster Pack. So there's an incentive for increasing your Steam level.
So it would seem that you've earned' all your cards for the games you're speaking of, and have had at least one booster pack, but you are likely not getting more because your level isn't high enough compared to other people.
no, not 9 in total, i said that i received 3 duplicated trading card for 3 already received trading cards which equals 12 in my world..
bro, you're really dumb af.. i did NOT get 9 unique cards, BUT 9 duplicated cards.
i HIGHLY suggest you to learn how to read and maths.
nice try to explain it and correct me, but you also misunderstood my question like all other user here by not reading my question properly.
Well do point out where I'm wrong.
I tried going through it step by step to show how it works as I couldn't quite understand what you were getting at.
I think it seems you're expecting more cards, yes? WHY.
