If you don't want to mess things up, why switch apps?
Also the icons for instant replay and manual recording are so confusing.
The green light was a perfect indicator that you were recording.
I've had to go back to Geforce Experience, Nvidia app is too unpredictable.
And if they dont make the Nvidia App to meet the standards of the GeForce Experience, then i will just have to get an AMD card next time.
At first I thought, it's nothing special, just a new look and name, but soon got greated with the statistics hud, I couldn't dissble. Turns out you are forced to have a keybind for it, which I hate, because it kind of blocks this key from ANY other app. And you can't even costumize what it shows, means besides the FPS it always shows gpu/cpu% and something with LAT. And FPS and LAT are not even working. They are just N/A.
I don't even gonna test how they have changed the recording and stuff.
At this point I don't even have the patience to take the time to get used to the new overlay.
I guess will do whatever it takes to get GeForce Experience working again.
[edit]: After installing the new drivers manually I could just uninstall the app and reinstall experience. Luckily, Nvidia still has the download links up and running. you just need to have the right website languages. (if your webseite is in german for example, you get automatically redirected to the new app.)
