Can’t download steam
Steam was messed up and everytime I tried to load it up it was just plane html text going through the processes to fix it I deleted it but now when I try to go to the steam website to re download it it’s also in html text and non of the links work

Sounds like your antivirus software or firewall software (not windows defender, but something else) is blocking a lot of internet traffic.
Especially javascript is blocked I assume?

I don’t have any other virus software that Ik of I went through and made sure windows defender was allowing everything I made sure my browser was allowing JavaScript it’s been a day and a half now still don’t know what’s going on steam is the only website I’m having this problem with

I’m in the army and just got back from 2 month long training was so excited to play some games just to come back to this 😭💀

Okay so since this is a new computer and practically had no data on it I just said ♥♥♥♥ it an reset it and updated windows and everything to latest version rechecked if everything was allowed and all that still nothing wtf😂

You would install steam from here

If you can't download steam from the Install Steam link its more likely you have some terrible anti-virus that's kililng the download. Unless you are running Windows Defender, uninstall any other AV trash from the system.
