Steam wallet+humble bundle
Valve should totally partner up with humblebundle.com so we are able to purchase bundles with wallet credit :D, what do you guys think? do you see any chance in the future of something like this happening?.

I think it wold have been cool but i also think it will not happen (and by the way was suggested in the past once at least :D:)
Why will it not happen? as humble bundle gives you steam keys most of the time, Steam dose not earn from it... when a game go on Steam Valve give keys to be made but they do not earn on that keys
So if they allow to use the wallet on it and you buy games from there they lose on that sell and they will need to lose cash you give them and give to HumbleBundle
And i don't think Humble Bundle will want to share there profit with Valve netter :/ soo.. well that is what i think

I dont think that would happen because if Humble Bundle got no money from people buying Steam cash, they wouldnt have anything to donate to charity of you used your wallet. Would be amazing though :D

i doubt it would happen. if it did, id be happy. pls lord gaben make the impossible possible.
How would they lose money? We paid for the money to be on our accounts, which in short means we pre-paid for our games, it's just the matter of choosing what we want.

You add money to Steam. You buy a game on the Steam store, steam gets 30% and the dev/pub gets 70%. You spend that money on Humble bundle how much will steam get and how much will the dev/pub get as well as humble bundle? This is an especially important question on the humble bundles where you can set the price and distribution of proceeds. Not to mention not every HB consists of all steam items as well as the fact that when you spend any money on a game/bundle at a retailer other than steam, Steam does not get a cut.

The Logic is still flawed. If Steam doesn't give me the Option, I'm just gonna load my Wallet with 30€ instead of 50€ and put 20€ on paypal instead. While Paypal is slower in this (except if you just put 50 or more in there, in which case you can use instant-transaction...) with enough planning ahead or just a certain fixed Balance on your PayPal, Steam won't get the Money either. In short this means, that steam is just missing on a chance to get some reputation (granted, Steam doesn't need that) for some flawed logic about making profit.

Seriously, If I load 20€ on Steam, instead of Paypal, I might get the Humble Bundle for, let's say, 5€ and would have 15€ to spare in the wallet, increasing spontaneaus-purchase-probability. If I'd have to first load my wallet, It just increases time to reconsider.
