There a lot lighter and the wireless controllers don't have batterys sticking out the backside of them like an xbox controller. No battery and longer battery life means more playing and less weight on the controller
I also dislike the shoulder buttons on the 360 controller, as again in time, the microswitches don't hold up well and become hit-or-miss.
The only issue I get with the DS3 is the situation where you put the controller down for a second only to find you've lobbed a grenade or something, thanks to the triggers being unshielded.
I also use a modified PS3 controller, and a one-handed device on my bad days.
I wish I could say the same about my DS3 controller.
TBH I find both controllers poor quality. They feel basically the same as a N64 controller. It doesn't feel like controllers have innovated at all since then.
Hopefully the steam controller can bring an end to that
