SteamCmd "Invalid password" error

When i try to login to SteamCmd I get the following message:

Logging in user '<removed>' to Steam Public...
password: ***********
Login Failure: Invalid Password
Failed.

I know that the password is correct because I can login to the steam client just fine.

How can I fix this problem?

You shouls not be allowed to post in such outdate post, because steam has never update or fixed anything from to 2013, thats ironic, if you miss that, and even that is not allow on steam's forum.

STOP use past post from past win10 is a good unoffical rule, you can read old post to get a clue that not same as wake them, steam should lock them all with a *.* past date locked

no one here has a clue as steam user what happend at 2013


to even suggest a cache/cookie issue, might be the cause , but gl to even think its that, and that dont mean it was same thing 10 years ago.

there are many books from the past thats full of BS compare with today knowledge, there is a reason we dare say this today then knowledge and understanding has change.
