Ps4 Controller to mac support

Hello i'm new to stream and currently playing stray on my macbook with a ps4 duelshock controller it was working fine for half hour or so but now the controller keeps disconnecting. it isn't out of charge, i go back into my controller settings and do a test and get it working again and then it'll work on the game for less than a minute and stop again. any ideas?

Check the batteries if it is wireless. Maybe it is disconnecting because it is running out of batteries?
