I can't find my screenshots!
I'm in game and I hit the insert button (ins) / print screen (prt sc) which is to the right of f12, the button Steam suggests for capturing screenshots. I see in the upper right hand corner of my screen something that reads along the lines of "Screenshot23.bmp created" so I figure I they have to be going somewhere. A search of my computer yields nothing and the steam screenshot page is acting like I've never taken one. Any ideas?

Go to the game in your library, your screenshots should be at the bottom of the page.

So in follow up to this quesiton the other day - I am still confused. So I checked for Skyrim in Program files and nothing. I searched my computer for them and again the only files that come back are my saves.

There's no Skyrim folder in Program Files (this is how I get screenshots for WoW)
There are no skyrim screenshots when I search my computer...

What am I missing?

Screens shots are [usually] in

:\Steam\userdata\YOURACCOUNTNUMBER\760\remote\GAME-ID-NUMBER\screenshots

The game ID number can be found by going to the store page for the game...

Steam -> Userdata -> ANY GAME -> remote (folder) or remotedcache.vdf

I'm no doctor but I'm pretty sure that's not my screenshots

I will post screenshots. I did exaclty what you said. After I'm in Program Files (x86) there is a Steam folder, so I click it. Inside the Steam folder is a "userdata" folder so I click that. Inside Userdata are two folders: 153469 and 159205610. The first one's content is a single folder reading "config." So I go into the 159205610 folder and look there.
Inside this folder there are 10 folders that read:
7
220
550
570
620
760
22380
72850
config
ugc

So then I look in these folders (pretty sure that is exactly what you're saying).

And inside of these folders are no screenshots...

When I click on the folder labeled "760" it opens and has one thing inside of it. "screenshots.vdf" which I can't open because I don't have anything to open VDFs?

But again, that's not the twenty-some screenshots I should have. And the Steam screenshots page, as mentioned previously, acts like I've never taken a screenshot before

Then yes that is odd.
Do you have INS set as your Steam screenshot button (in the client - steam>settings>In-game)?
Because F12 is default and I dont think prtscn can be used..

Or have you set up a custom screenshot folder? (also in steam>settings>In-game)

If you can't find it that way, try clicking "View Screenshot Library" in your Steam library, then "Show on disk" to bring up the folder.
