Trouble with the trade-system is nothing new, but... I just got a NEW error! After posting a trade-request, I received 3 trade-proposals from different people, and after some trouble, I managed to get one of them to go through. Problem is, now the two last offers are 'stuck' somehow. They've got a grey banner across them reading 'Items now unavailable for trade', and I can't reject them...

wait, if you get "error sending offer" most times the offer WAS sent. Check the sent offers tab (if you can, of course), because the other user probably got 100 offers :p

I have 198 offers and I can't access them no matter what I use. I've tried a web browser, phone, and the client.

I have the same problem with trying to view my trade offers. Currently 201 trade offers in my notification and counting... i can load the Sent Offers page but i can't load the Incoming Offers page. It's been like that for several hours now. the error page shows: "There was an error retrieving trade offers" which is oddly the exact same error page as when i try to view my Incoming Offer History and Sent Offer History. This is making me angry that Steam didn't upgrade their servers beforehand and they didn't bother to prepare for the heavy traffic due to the Summer Sale. I have never been able to load my Incoming Offer History and Sent Offer History pages which contains hundreds of offers. I think Steam didn't allocate enough server processing time or enough memory to display trade offer pages with a relatively high number of offers. In that case, all we can do is wait or if the problem persists... Set inventory to private to prevent any more incoming trade offers and wait until the current offers expire (need to wait 2 freakin' weeks!!). This is a very serious problem and i believe it is high time that Steam dedicates some additional resources to their trading system.

I've been having the same problem for the last 8 hours. 375 pending offers, slowly going down though as people cancel and offers become invalid.

This problem seems to be related to how many offers there are to be loaded. I think it's mostly the people with many incoming offers that will experience it.

Well trading has to be working for someone, because I'm seeing my counter on trades go down, which I'd assume is items going unavailable, followed by a new trade to clear them.

It's working for low volume traders. Also, I can usually send out offers, and I can check my sent offers without a problem, since there aren't that many of them. It's just the incoming offers that I can't check. Down to 262 now.
