Any package on Steam is one item -- it cannot be broken up in any way.
If you already own some games from a package you'll just get the new games; the excess licenses are simply discarded. You don't get gifts or anything.
The are very few, rare exceptions to this -- all of them for some Valve packages, where you will get gifts for certain games. But even there it's specific to certain packages, not a general rule for all Valve game packages.
Nope. The price you pay is what you pay. There is no additional discounts for already owning a pice of the pack.
Most the time the pack is cheaper then buying the individual pices that you don't own. Just do the math. If it is cheaper to buy the pack, then get it. If it is cheaper to get the missing pices individualy, then do it like that.
Yep i suspected as much, only that i saw different opinions regarding the matter. Thanks for the response, i'll keep this in mind.
