I have like 4300 games on Steam alone, a few hundred on EPIC, EA PLAY, GOG, PSN, XBOX LIVE and so on from over the years.
Plus a few thousand extra games from Steam Family Share.
I LONG ago made my peace with never being able to play all those games in my lifetime.
Now i just play what i feel like playing, often even replaying older games because i want to.
Games are supposed to be FUN, if you look at your backlog with the mindset of " how can i play all those games??" it turns into work, the opposite of what they are for.
Just keep the account, maybe someday you want to play a specific game you have on that account and then you are glad you dont have to buy it again on another one.
But you have to get away from the " i have to play all this!" mindset.
If you play them at some time in the future, great! If not, thats just as fine.
