My Brother lsot his Prime, Rating and Rank in CS2

Hello guys,

my Brother lost his Prime and everything MID Game. He even lost his Rating and Rank. He changed his password and everything you need. His Profilpicture got deleted, the Description got changed. What can he do? did he lost his rank and everything?

this is the steam account, funny part is i recorced everything since he began. he even send him a screenshot of his personal data and everything

Having his profile avatar change is a Classic sign that someone else is on their account, probably got phished on a fake skin trading site. Do the following.

Steps to take NOW to secure the account:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Also, teach your brother not to go to fake sites, and perhaps go to a library to learn some basic cyber security stuff. Most libraries teach these classes for free.

Your brother should do this immedietly. Sounds like he is getting scammed too.

We changerd Psasword, we looked for Mailware and everything via windows r (MRT) he did a full scan on his pc, he even cleaned his browser data, i mean EVERYTHING

You can test if their account is safe then by making a ticket to steam support. If it automatically closes, their account is still not safe.

its still open. he opened the ticket 30 min. ago.. but how did he lost his prime, his rating and his rank??

Someone probably went on their account. A scammer maybe manipulating the account. There are many ways the scammer could have access to the account. The most likely method is going to a fake trading site for skins and stuff. The next one is they clicked on a fake link in chat. They also could be sharing their account, which is why it is against the tos to do because stuff like this happens.

Just make sure that ticket does not automatically close as if it does, someone is still on their account. If it is still open, be patient too. You should actually get a response from Steam support.
