Skyrim - How to Delete Cloud Saves from Steam for a Fresh new Start
I need some help deleting cloud save files permanently on Steam for Skyrim SE. I've deleted the saved files from my external drive and the remote files on my computer, but I can't stop the old saves from returning. After reinstalling Skyrim again, the cloud shows zero memory, but when I start Skyrim, the files come back. I don't have any saved files on my computer in documents either. I've also tried creating a new game when Steam shows zero memory, but the files return anyway. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Try deleting the saved progress from within the game itself. In the menu 'load game' or 'save game'.

Once you exit from the game after removing those files, that will probably also clear the Cloud files.

I've tried. When I do that, I attempt to play the game with a fresh game, and for some reason, the save files come across as corrupted.
If files are corrupted, try this to repair them:

Most likely your old saves used some mods. Whenever you remove mods from skyrim, it always corrupts the save games. Same thing happens on other games too. I know from experience this always happens.
If for whatever reason the save files cannot be deleted in game, and the Steam Cloud keeps restoring the "corrupted" files, you can also try to start the game, then press alt+tab on your keyboard, go to a file explorer, and remove the files from your hard drive. And then press alt+tab to go back into the game, and then exit the game.

That should remove those files from the Cloud.

Disable steam cloud for the game .
Delete the local save files.
Start a new game and make a new save file.
Exit the game enable cloud save and restart the game.
You should get a popup for which save to use.
Be sure to select the local save file option.
This should overwrite the cloud save files.
