You don't need to find the user. Just report the transaction to support.
I know, but it was half year ago, if I klick on "see more transactions" there's no any button or options to report it. All I can do is to look at this or take a screenshot as a proof.
I don't know. My friends had the same situaction. I needed to change my password and log out from other devices. Also he blocked all my FRIENDS.. I must have unblock them. Crazy was it :c
Do all the following steps to properly secure your account.
Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
Change passwords from a clean computer
Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey
Generate new backup codes
If there were any API keys to revoke, it usually means you logged into some other site with your Steam credentials, whether you were aware of this or not. This is common with skin trading/gambling sites, but there are plenty of scams that want you to click a link to vote for someone's team or some kind of giveaway. It can also happen with targeted malware or if you use computers that others also have access to (internet cafe, schools, etc...).
They are Scam sites, you enter your account information on them and they empty your account.
And before you Deny it, yes you DID use them, you literally have some in your Groups.
Sorry to hear that you’ve encountered a scam. Unfortunately, Steam cannot reverse trades since all trades require confirmation before being completed. However, you can still take some actions:
Report the Scammer:
If you remember the scammer’s profile, go to their Steam profile → Click on the "More" button (three dots) → Select "Report Violation" → Choose "Attempted Trade Scam."
If you traded through the Steam Market, check your Market History (Steam → Inventory → Market Transactions) to find the trade.
Check Your Trade History:
Go to Steam → Inventory → Trade Offers → View Trade History
This will show all your trades, and you might find the scammer’s profile there.
Contact Steam Support:
If you can't locate the user, submit a ticket to Steam Support under Trading and Market Issues → I’ve been scammed.
Provide all the details you have (trade history screenshots, market transaction logs, and chat logs if available).
Enable Steam Guard & Trade Confirmations:
To prevent future scams, ensure Steam Guard and mobile trade confirmations are enabled to secure your account.
Unfortunately, Steam does not refund lost items, but reporting the scammer helps prevent future scams. Be cautious of trades that seem too good to be true!
Let me know if you need more help
No one. Only me.
If they blocked all your friends, that is a indication they have access on your account. Only the person who owns the account can do that. So either they magically got blocked, or the scammer is still on your account.
Thank you very much <3
No, this user or bot with program blocked all my friends, not me. Idk how he changed my avatar profile too.
Because you are in denial they are still on your account. Unless you think god went on your pc and magically blocked all your friends.
