Missing Items in Wishlist

This question really isn't related to any of the other topics so I started this. Today, when I checked my wishlist to see what deals there are I noticed quite a few game slots were black with the message the item is no longer available. Is this just a blip for Steam? Are they items removed permanently and no longer offered for sale on Steam? Are items removed from the list after a certain amount of time has passed and you have not bought it? Really strange!

Did you have any specific examples? I know that a developer will occasionally remove games from the store, but if you have a bunch of them, either it is an error, or you have some pretty obscure tastes.

This is a Steam related issue and has got nothing to do with Civ VI.

Can report the same issue in my wishlist. Games affected are as follows:

The Wayward Realms
Gothic 1 Remake
American Camper Simulator
Dead Age Survivors
Pirates Republic
PitBots
Gladiators Manager
Showa American Story
Spine - this is gun fu

Gothic 1 Remake is not out yet. It will say "coming soon" on the date next to it.

As for the rest. A silent update has made it so delisted games now show up on wishlists. It is a update to your wishlist. So any game that was delisted in the past or any game that was removed from steam in the past is now shown on the wishlist. it is a good update in my opinion.

Coming soon games will also show up with a black bar. The difference is that the steam store may have removed the "coming soon" thing above the description of the game. I noticed this on some of the game not out yet i wishlisted also.

I am aware of that. But until including yesterday I was able to see the placeholder banner of the game in the wishlist, visit the store page etc. It has become unavailable in my region, same with the other titles mentioned and all of them are not released yet.

In my case the title of the games is still in the wishlist. But the picture is blank and I can't interact with their store page anymore.

edit: Spine and Gothic 1 Remake are back in the list. The others still missing. I guess it really is just a bug.

edit 2: Turns out the cause is a new age rating rule in Germany and games that have not been rated yet are no longer being displayed. Devs need to do their thing, then the game becomes visible again as was the case with Gothic and Spine. Mystery solved.

That really sucks. I am in the US, but lost games from the wishlist because of Germany. Makes a lot of sense. Not.
