Issue with broadcasting

Confirmed with friend that when I broadcast and allow him to watch, all he gets is a black flickering screen. I swapped with him so he could broadcast and I watch and the same thing is happening on my end. Black flickering screen. I keep seeing people having the same issue on here but have yet to find a fix. I've already cleared my cache and also turned off hardware video decoding in the steam interface settings and nothing helped.

start broadcast. Join your own broadcast, then invite your friend. This solved it for me and my friends.
