I don't like the massive DLC gouging in Darksiders II but I've come to the conclusion (from reading comments) that none of it is essential for a complete experience and most of it is actually "meh" compared to the main game.
Agree.
Too bad the chances are we won't see the other two horsemen (or woman). Hope those who bought the IP will make something good with it.
Nordic is doing wonders with Red Faction: Guerrilla already, turning it into the PC version it always should have been.
They are a great bunch of guys and I think they will do right by the other IP's as well.
That's a lot of different games to be working on though, so we need to be patient obviously, and hopefully they bring in some of the original designers.
How exactly does that help you? You don't even know me, and certainly not well enough to know whether or how our preferences align.
I'd go for Darksiders. I have some of each, but only Darksiders is actually on my list of games to play (or actually try again, which is rare. Got stuck on the first boss, Tiamat, due to controller issues).
Fear on the other hand... while good.. are a dime a dozen.
