HELP with FAMILY SHARE
Hi, I have a friend with whom I have spoken for a long time, he does not have many games on steam so I entrusted him with my library (and until then there is no problem) the problems (two) are the following:

1- He was given a VAC in CSGO and according to him, he had not cheated, and he had not entered the game for weeks (it is true, when it happened he did not have a weekly hour of play) as a preventive measure I told him not to use games VAC from my library. This is enough? Any comment about it?

2-He recently said he found a card on the street, and used it to buy a couple of games (less than a thousand Argentine pesos), but I said "That is Fraud, and if they report the card to recover the money, Even if it is little, he should get a vac for fraud, right? " In that case, could it affect me? Steam says that I could get vac if he cheats or scams "using my library" does he mean that the cheats that he makes / scams, outside of my library should not affect me?

When in doubt I prefer to simply cut the library, I have had my account for almost ten years and I do not want any penalty. I'd like to thank you for the answers beforehand.

1) they cheated so they got a VAC ban. if they cheat again with your family sharing, you too will then be VAC banned

2) you dont get a VAC for financial fraud. that account will get an account suspension when the charge backs happen.

I feel like you need better 'friends' because this one is not only a cheater, but a fraudster, and a liar to you.

I edited my post because I mis-read what you said

but given they cheated before, yes and they did cheat, they are likely to cheat again. This is in addition to them stealing. This 'friend' is not trustworthy. I would not lend such a 'friend' my library and risk my account.

Well thanks for the response, yeah, I feelt quite unsecure with all this going on, I really feel like my account is part of me and I would be extremely sad if some kind of thing happens to it.

I just can't stop thinking "but what if.." I'm quite sure he didn't used any vac protected game with my library on. So I guess I should be able to relax again, right?

Yeah don't share your info in any way with a cheater. If they've got a vac on their account and you have a game they want to play, 100% likely: they will get your account a ban because honestly cheaters rarely stop cheating.
