good games for bad computers

so my computer is new but very cheap so i can only run select games, somtimes the steam recomendations arnt always helpfull considering that i can play many games that the specs would say otherwise. you can look in my game library to see my games, there is only a few games that i cannot run which obviosly are the ones that have better graphics than the others, so heres what i want to know

what are some good games that i can run, can be any type of game
what are some good coop games that me and my friend can play
what are some good coop games that me and my other friend can play who has a mac

any suggestions are greatly apretiated

these are the specs that i know of my computer incase that help..........
4GB RAM
two 1.4GHz proccesors

note: cheaper games would be prefferd but i will take all in consideration

Best recommendation I can give is use the filters....games under 5 bucks and then order them in "user reviews" in the top button and have fun picking...LOL...lots of older games with not so good graphics still win over some of the coolest looking games out there...

You are welcome...I know it is not a "specific" answer to your question but I never feel comfortable 100 percent answering questions like yours...there could be so many "right" answers if you know what I mean...hope you understand....Happy Gaming !!!

I am using a Macbook Air with a 1.3 GHz processor until I get my PC built. I can run pretty much every game made by Valve and lots of 2-D games, which don't require a lot of power to run. You'd be surprised at what you can run, but don't expect to run games on high settings unless they are older. Don't expect to be able to run new AAA titles.
