DLC "Warband Viking Conquest" not downloading/installed

I bought the game, I have it in my dlc list. But it won't download or install. It's checked to install but it won't, I have tried verifying the files, restarting steam and nothing happens. Please give me some help on how to resolve this.

It's still not out yet. The store page still has it available as a preorder, so wait a few more hours until it gets released.

My son can't download it either, today, right now, way after release. I purchased the DLC as a gifted for a friend and gifted it to him. he accepted it, and, like the OP, it shows up in the list of DLC in the steam window that comes up at launch, but does not appear in the M&B launcher after that.

Try to verify the local content...this could be a download problem or related to it...is he sure it is checked in the dlc tab of the properties for the game after right clicking the game in library ?

Thanks. He hadn't unchecked any DLC for the game. As it ends up, the next day, there was an upate for the game (the beta going to release, I suppose) and that fixed things.
