Using Ps3 game as a activation for a steam game
Hey there,
So I bought Just cause 2 from the PS store. A month later I build my new gaming PC. So I was wondering if I could use the Play Station JC2 Version as like a activation key to say that I have bought that game so that I can get it on windows.
Thanks

You bought the PS3 version and want to know if you can get the PC version as part of that same purchase? The answer is no. You need to buy the PC version separately.

The only game to date that you can activate on both a console and Steam (and only if you purchase the PS3 version) is Portal 2.

That was only because it came with a cd key for a the pc version.

There are probably MANY games to date that bought on one platform have had keys for other platforms included with them.
