Download Corrupt error when downloading new game

I have this error when I'm downloading H1Z1. this is the error.

AppID 295110 update canceled : Failed updating depot 295111 while unpacking bad chunk "2640a5e9228c8d5ece281b70fbced5998919a52c" from "valve182.cs.steampowered.com" (Unpack failed (c:352,u:0,b:1024)) (Corrupt download)

I have the same problem when I try to download RTW2. But also when I`m downloading other games this message appears: "An error occured while updating (game name) (download corrupt). I think I will contact the steam support.

You can also try switching the downloads regions several times to see it that helps..

go to steam then settings then downloads
change the download region
log out and exit steam all the way. make sure it stops fully
log back in and see that the region stayed like you left it
try to download again

Again, you may have to try to do this several times before knowing it does not help

Same here. "Corrupt download" after downloading half of PlanetSide 2... Switching download regions as mentioned by 'The Giving One' maybe a solution. I switched to Singapore region which is nearby my original region, it failed. So I switched it to Australia, which is 1 of PlanetSide 2 server provider and it worked so far. Download continuing. Maybe try switching the region to a country where the game would most likely be stable/established? All the best to u guys :)

All of it didn't work......=(, and its always stuck at 99% download and the error will pop up.

My problem is solved. I changed my wifi usb stick and this workes for me. But maybe another reason is that the internet connection was changed: from dsl 3000 to dsl 6000.

I solved it guys. I use a vpn changer and it completed my download. thanks anyways

I used a vpn changer like Kuso and it let me download both of the games that it said were corrupted for me. I tried pretty much every other solution online including all the ones that include deleting files and this is the only one that worked
