Csgo lost my inventory and I vulnerable to losing everything
Hi so I recently got hacked by a link scammer and he posted a link to a download that downloaded automaticlly and when I went back into steam everything was gone. I deleated the file quickly and then I changed my steam passcode. I know they guys steam name and profile and he hacked me on too. I did send a ticket in so I could get everything back but I don't know if my computer is safe anymore.my friend told me their is a change that I could have a rat on my computer but I don't know much about it and if I can get rid of it. The only thing I know to do is to download extra anti virous software for a little while. If you have any suggestions on what I should do or if I am really got everything hacked please tell me if you want I can post the link to the download of the hack. I am less worried about my inventory then my computer. Please let me know on what to do and thank you.

Scan with an Anti- Virus and antimalware, if they do not find it i do recommend even to think abut a full format and reinstall (if that is possible for you)

Do you think he is trying to get eveything or do you think he just took my csgo stuff and left?

If these happen once, it means you have something on Your PC that allows it
As much as you know, it may also record your passwords and CC numbers, so what ever the case clear it out before you even need to care abut your Items

so i did everything i could so far as i think my anti virus deleated the rat

I do recommend you also use anti malware, it finds the virus the anti virus dose not

Any how the guide pass on all of it, best luck on getting your items, and cleaning it up and all
Hope you learn to take time to learn the risk so it will never happen again :(

Same thing happened to me, submitted steam ticket 3 days ago, still waiting on a response...
