Ownership / Retail game
I recently purchased Endless Legend on 'A' account.
I am actively using my recent 'B' account.

I am not able to purchase DLC through 'B' accounts cause, the ownership is from 'A' account.

Can my 'B' account holds the ownership of endless legend which I purchased via 'A' account?

hello there emilio. Thanks for answering my question. That's fast.

But i have the cd key through my previous account.

U mean i cant use the cd key on my latest account?

the game can be played by my recent account, just that i dont have the ownership of it and if i have to buy DLC contents i have to spend using my old account.

thats sux

anyone can help? like can i contact steam to get this transfer going?

I can absolutely play the game in my new account as it is shared.

The reason i want the full ownership of the game which i purchased from my previous account to my new one, cause i do not want my old account anymore.

I look to spend using my new account but the DLC content can't be purchased using my latest account.

Games can not be transfered between account. When a key is activated, it is attatched to that account forever.

You will need to either purchase the DLC on the account that owns the game or re-buy the game on the new account. There is not way around that.

Though I guess you could buy the DLC as a gift on the new account and gift it to the old account. But the old account would still have ownership of the game and DLC.

I have a last question.

I remember sometime ago when i have a game which i bought in a retail shop not via online.
civilization 5 CD, i have a cd key but it can be played and install via different computers?

this is so sux when u purchase online and u cant transfer it.

so buying a hardcopy of the game got an advantage than purchasing it online?

Yes, you can install it on multiple computers, as long as you use the same Steam account.
A Steam account is not bound to a single PC.

nope

yep. i do understand steam account is not bound to a single pc.

but buying a hardcopy CD u can play it via any computer and u can use the cd keys as u like.
also, it has nothing to do with steam then>?
Cathulhu May 7, 2015 @ 7:37am
I don't see the problem when you can install the Steam games on as many computers as you like, just like the other games.

yea. LOL. But i look to obsolete my old account.
My latest account, i understand that i need to spend a minimum 5usd to make the steam account live.

so i thought to purchase this Endless Legend DLC pack. :)

if i use my new account to purchase the DLC pack as a gift to my old account like mentioned from TORO.

This spending still counts in my new account right.
