Corrupt download GTA V

This morning my GTA V download should finally be ready ( I let my pc download it this night), but when I started the game I saw that it still had 1,2 GB to download. When I tried to click on play game, it starded the download, but after a second or two I get an error. It says: error by updating GTA V (corrupt download). But I bought the game, so how could it be corrupt?

It's a huge game, if you don't have a very good network connection, it might of got corrupted during the download. That's okay, find what's corrupted and re-download that piece.

Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify Intergrity of Game Cache.

If I do this, it says that the game is 100% valid.

you can do it same like this follow then you can download again. Steam > Settings > Downloads > Change Regional Server.
Asks to restart Steam > do so and then go to GTAV > Properties > Local Files > Verify

Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files

Under the folder "_CommonRedist" you will find "DirectX > DXSETUP.exe" and "vcredist > vcredist_x64.exe and vcredist_x86.exe", manually install those to ensure they have been fully setup.

Under the folder "Installers" you should find the "Social Club v1.1.5.8 Setup.exe". Install that too and create your account to link the game, if you haven't already.

Finally right-click the file "GTAVLauncher.exe" or "GTA5.exe" and try to "Run as Administrator". Just incase your Windows is blocking some access for it. It's going to access your RockStar Social Club and login before the launching of the actual game - so it could be related to that, rather than the game.

Any luck then? If not, check that root folder for any "error.txt" files or similar.

i have the same problem when the download reach 29.7GB and when i click on the [ Browse Local Files ] Nothing happen and nothing show up !

Not browse local files, press the bottom one to verify.

I have this problem but when it gets to 25-27% done it just stops then says corrupt download, I've tried everything you guys all said.

If your still having a problem with this just locate the file(s) that won't update or be fixed then move the files outside of the game folder or put them into the recycle bin if they are not corrupted. Hope this helps and remember to stay safe and never tell anyone you don't know any personal info. Have fun!
