Anyway to detect what game is the CD-KEY is linked to ?

I've got a collection of CD-KEYS ( legal ones purchased from GMG and GG ). I bought during sales and to use as a gift to others.

However , I cannot accessed such site at my current place as it blocked access to such sites . ( My hostel banned online shopping sites ==' ). i've saved a few list of keys but forgot to include which key is for what game.

Does the 'activate game' in steam instantly add the game to your account or there is a confirmation stating the game name before you add. Wanted to try but scared it add duplicates to my account.

There is no way to find out what game is what
I recomemnd you wait and try later when you can enter the site
