My Games Aren't Downloaded?
Earlier I had an issue where steam wouldn't open. I fixed it, but now steam says that my games aren't installed even though I know for a fact that they are installed. Please Help, Thanks!

Have you seen this ?

EDIT...also this from that page..

To ensure that you do not encounter this issue, always allow Steam to close properly when shutting down your computer. Allowing Windows to force Steam to close when it is writing to a hard drive may cause Steam library and installation information to become corrupted.

EDIT...and this link is important also...

EDIT..if you think your steam files did get corrupted because of the issue you described then see this...

I believe that Steam's files may be modified, corrupted, missing, or misconfigured. How can I restore Steam to its original state without having to reinstall my games?

None of these worked, anything else?

This kind of reply would be MUCH more helpful...

" I have read the pages you linked and tried to show Steam where my games are and checked the list of programs that can affect Steam and I have NONE of them and I also refreshed my files and that did not work either."

At this point we could actually know what you tried here so we can get a better idea of how to help you...

Sorry, it is just really frustrating when I go to the trouble of typing and linking a lengthy post here to try to help someone and I get back a reply with 6 words in it that tells me nothing...

EDIT..and judging from your Post number 1 what I posted here makes even more sense.

I'm sorry if you feel that I've wasted your time, I've decided to just reinstall the games, thanks for your help.

In that case, good luck to you. I give my time here freely trying to help others so I wish I could have been more helpful for you.
