Monitor turning off while playing games and won't turn on pls help
My monitor suddenly turns off while playing games and won't turn on, I have to restart the computer for it to work. I noticed that if I lower graphics and everything etc. the monitor will turn off latter. But still, it wasn't happening before.

Are you sure it's the monitor shutting down, or is it just the video going out?

If it's the first one, it's probably the monitor and you should try another one and see if the problem persists.

If the video goes out, try another HDMI cable, if the problem persists, try another screen. If it still persists, then it's probably your videocard, or its drivers.

Sorry for late reply, I had to go yesterday. I think it's the monitor, because I have a light on my monitor which shows is it turned on. Green = on Orange = sleeping or something and black = turned off, the light turns to orange. So it's not turning off but going to sleep. When I turn it off and on it's still the same.

That indicates it's not the monitor at fault. The monitor goes to sleep because it doesn't receive a video signal anymore.
This tells me your videocard is dying, probably due to overheating.

So I have to buy a new one??

Okay. I don't know a lot about that, you know, things inside computer. But I know to do a lot of things on computer.

Sure. I'll do it latter when my father is there.

Well, changing the videocard isn't hard. Remove the monitor cable, open the case, remove any power connector it might have, remove the screw at the back of the card if present. After that, there is a small lever at the slot the card is sitting in, push that to the side and pull it out.
It's pretty easy to do.
The harder part is finding a replacement, since you should be careful to buy one your PC can support, that includes the power supply of your PC.

If it happens only in specific games, it's most likely that game's DirextX distro.

No problem, I'm using that as temporary fix. The problem seems to be when playing fullscreen games. I'm sending my computer soon to where I bought it from for them to repair, It seems graphics card is broken probably, I don't really remember.
