most laptops default them to being the fn+f key setting
for media keys, display settings ect..
what is bios?
BIOS is the little front-end that every computer uses to initiate all it's peripherals. In other words, it's that text screen that briefly blips up when you boot up your PC. It contains details such as changing memory allocation, switching between graphics cards, changing hard drive setups, and so on. Technical stuff.
You would be far better served I think just rebinding the keys in each inidividual game either via the options, or the game's CFG files. But if you do the latter, make sure that if you play thta game online that it doesn't trigger bans.
For example I've used quite a few laptops where they default to instead being the OEM function keys; then Fn+F key is how u then press the F keys. But from what I've seen, that can be reversed in the BIOS so the F keys operate their functions by default.
If you've redone your laptop at some point, go on the maker's website and see if there are any extra apps u need. As some laptops F keys won't function correctly without an OEM/3rd party app.
