read it and check the computer if you dont have antivirus program running allready ...dont trust a browser that pop and say such some try to scare people to buy programs with scare tactic
DON'T change your password BEFORE you've disinfected your computer, otherwise the scammer will know what it is.
You shoudl do the following:
(1) Disinfect your PC by running an INTENSIVE scan with your antivirus software.
(2) Then download Malwarebytes' Antimalware (Google it), and run it and let it run.
(3) Once they come back clean, THEN you can change both passwords - your email AND Steam. Don't use the same passwords!
In future, NEVER, EVER click on links, even if the person is claiming to be from Valve - Valve NEVER try to contact this way. They only communicate via email and support ticket.
Also, remember NEVER to sell things outside of the official trading system either.
Either one. Depending on how secure your internet browser is, which usually is not very secure at all. Even clicking on the link can be very dangerous.
