Hello,

Don't click on random link.
This is a popular scam/hack.

The better solution is to formate your windows but if you don't wan't just do a backup since your last save or clean your computer(scan..).You can change your password/email adresse too of both accounts.Don't forget to remove the cache/cookie of your internet navigator.

Yes, you can try to run an intensive scan using your antivirus suite, then download Malwarebytes' Antimalware and run that. If it removes a load of stuff you may well be clear.

ONLY if it does so should you then change your passwords to Steam and your email.

Do not trust your system anymore. The only way to be sure is by installing a clean copy of Windows.

The extension of the files you download is .scr ?
It's probably a trojan or something like that.

Do a scan and use an anti malware software.

What programs? I take it you HAVE an anti-virus suite on your PC? Run that. You'll see the options for an intensive scan. Once that's done, do as I suggested with Malwarebytes Antimalware as I said.

The other thing is just to illustrate that changing your passwords before you've run these scans and cleaned your system serves no purpose - it MUST be done once it's all reported back as clean.

Yeah it's the same type for this method (exe => scr scr<=exe)

So do the steps i have write but the better solution is to do a clean installation of windows.

For a clean installation would I need a new copy of windows?

No, you really don't need to do that yet.

ONLY if those methods I suggested DON'T come back with anything should you consider doing this. It's overkill, even though it's absolute.

No problem - it's quite common. At least you'll learn from it.

I strongly suggest you act NOW though, as you will most likely lose those items and access to your account. Then it'll take several days for support to even answer you.

Far better to go through what I suggested. Don't be embarrassed - I guess from your responses you either don't know how to go about what I suggested or you haven't got an antivirus suite, or maybe don't know what it is.

If so, ASK HERE. We'll guide you, step-by-step

Im not the best at anti virus, about all I know for looking for viruses is either go onto a anti virus program, look into my files, or look into Task manager(which I have no idea if viruses show up on there)
Also Malwarebytes has currently deleted 108 files and how now found 126 more after it deleted them and restarted my computer

What do I suggest? Using Windows 7 or above (8, 8.1, 10, ...) and right click->Properties on the executable file you want to run.
Does it have a "Digital Signature"? Run it. Otherwise, just erase it.
