space engineers runs in the background!!
i bought space engineers for my cousing, but he ins´t able to play the game with me because when he starts the game, it will open but only run in the background, only the process in the task manager will appear but no game will show up. moreover,. he unnistaleled and reinstalled the game, verified his cache, reinstalled steam, and we went to several forums, im sure his specs can run the game and he runs with only 1 monitor. please help!

if he has widow 8 nothing will work on it. its an office computer not a gaming computer

he has windows 7 and my computer has windows 8 and it runs just fine, also, all other games run in his computer, only space enginners is showing this problem

Yeah windows 8 has nothing to do with the problem as I am currently running it without a problem. Does your friend play it in a window or fullscreen?

he can´t open the game, when he does it starts, no game window will appear, but if he tries to open it again he will find that the game is already running. when he opens the task manager he can see the process of the game running, but the game wont appear anywere, even if he ALT-TAB

Sounds like something is blocking the exacution of the game maybe a security or antivirus software. Another posibility is something is either preventing it from accessing the registry or has prevented it from writing important things to the registry, such as game location. Check the security software.

we already did that, he disabled his firewall, and created an exception to the game. but it still would´t work :/
