I posted my knife HUNTSMAN KNIFE SAFARI MESH, i was selling it. Then suddenly. someone chat with me on steam and he said that he has a nice knife for me and he gave me a link

so i pressed it in and a download bar poped up . So i clicked run and suddenly my csgo items went away piece by piece.These are the items that he took AK-47 | Blue Laminate, FAMAS | Pulse, CZ75-Auto | Poison Dart, MAC-10 | Amber Fade, Sawed-Off | Amber Fade, Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo, M4A1-S | Dark Water, M4A4 | X-Ray, StatTrak™ Five-SeveN | Kami, StatTrak™ P90 | Trigon, USP-S | Stainless, PP-Bizon | Chemical Green, AUG | Torque, AK-47 | Redline, Tec-9 | Isaac, AWP | BOOM, ★ Huntsman Knife | Safari Mesh.Then the link started to send to everyone in my steam automatically and my computer bluescreened.When i came in again all of my items are gone.Luckily that he didnt change my password. Please don't post a working link to aid that scammer, or would you want a not-to-carefull-reader to click it?
Though "he" didn't change your password, better change it yourself and have your computer cleaned while you wait for a personalized answer from Steam Support.

And please don't post nicknames from eledged perps. Or would you want your own nick to be added by some-one to whom "you" sent that link? You are a victim, like so this person could be just another victim who's been used as a front.

You can contact Steam Support at https://support.steampowered.com/.
You need to create a Support account seperate from your Game account, that is to protect us in case of emergencies as this-one, so we can still contact Support when our Game account is hacked.

Getting your items back might be difficult or impassible. Depending on Laws Valve/Steam have to obey and Laws of the country where you live, in case of a next sale the new owner(s) might have the permanent rights to the items if (s)he/they had no reason to doubt the legality of the sale.
In that case you, the victim, might get a refund from your insurance. If and When and After you + Steam Support can proove you were a victim, you can ask Steam Support for verification of your previous ownership of the items to give to your insurance.

File should do nothing, if you don't open it. Just clicked that working trojan link...

Just cleaned up browser cache and ran Malwarebytes scanner. Nothing found.

I jsut got one of these, thought it was real. googled the link while I loaded the page. So I disabled and renabled steam guard, that should stop me losing items for 1 week. yay

Same thing happend to me! A guy sent the trade offer of a person called Rembo and another link to that picture. I downloaded it and the virus made my account send the link of the download to everyone in my friend list.. Next thing i know the virus sent a trade offer with ALL my valuable items to a person called Rembo and he accepted it.
