games for windows live won't install (solved)

I'm trying to install games for windows live to play fall out 3, but every time I try i keeps bringing up this message:

"Error writing to file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games for Windows - LIVE\Client\cs-cz\GFWLClient.resources.dll. Verify that you have acsess to that directory"

I can find the file yet when i open the cs-cz file there is no GFWLClient.resources.dll.

I have been all around the internet trying to figure this out but I have had no luck. If anyone has any ideas please give me anything. I just want to join the Tunnel Snakes damn it.

See if the game works without GFWL.

This happened to me as well. If you look online you can find a download link for the missing .ddl file and add it into the game file. Also as a side note Fallout 3 was never optimized for newer windows versions so the game will not run unless you run it in optimized mode. Hope this helped~!

I can run Fallout 3 without optimized mode.

It's not that black and white.

Also never download DLL files from third party websites; rather extract them from the packages they come in.

YEEEEEEESSSSSS it's working!. all i had to do was dissable Games for windows live.
