What is a good game for a really old computer.

My computer broke down... :( Now im using my old laptop, when i say old i mean windows xp old. Also it only has 18GB of storage left in it and it have like 2gb ram. What are some cheap/old games that can this machine can run but will keep me busy for the next half a year. <--- around the time i can save up enough for a new one.
Edit: it was a cheap work laptop i got right before vista came out. so it can't run anything newer than... 2005/6, also it doesnt have to be on steam, could be gog or whatever, JUST NO ORIGIN PLS.

Defy Gravity. It's worth some cents because it's on sale until 11 June. It is new and it has low graphics. I believe a laptop like yours can run it. It is a puzzle game. Go check if your specs are good enough to run it. Hope you like it!
