Steam Phishing URL
To begin, I apologize for my English.
Today, several people have asked me to be friends with they on my steam account, and 2 of these people told me that they wanted to trade with me, but they were unable to add me as friends on their steam accounts.
So they send me a link so I can add them as friends.
Here is the link what I talking about: http://steamcommunitj.com/id/76561193020521323/
Be very careful to this link.
As you will notice, the letter "j" replaces the letter "y" in the word "community".
Well, I hope that this message will help you to not fall into that trap.

LOL...that is why it is filtered out here by Steam already. Good thing too, so you don't post that link here for others to click on. Nice .....

This has been going on forever here and is a very common scam. Why would you click a link from a source you are not familiar with ? Use the trading protections that Steam gives and you will be fine....no need to have a "link" to do that.

Pretty old news. For future reference; it's not wise to post the malicious links even as an example. You were lucky that the one you've published is auto-removed. By doing this; other people; particularly non-English speaking ones may unwittingly click on them. You could also be permanently banned for doing this even inadvertently.

Did you click on the link by any chance?

No, I doesn't click on it, cose I checked the URL before.
Then I'm sorry to have posted the link here. I had not thought about the fact that some (non-English speaking ones) people could click on it.
:(

I'm really sorry.

No problem! Glad your PC is secure and also good job for spotting that the initial URL was a fake - many don't and they get hijacked.
