Verifying Visa debit card (Barclays)

I'm trying to verify my debit card, steam tells me it has authorised two small transactions on my account that I need to check to verify the card, but I can't find the transactions anywhere on my online banking account. I've also called barclays but they were not able to provide me with any details.

Am I going to have to wait for the market restriction to end or is there any other way round this?

You will have to wait, unless you can get the two transactions steam has made.
Note, Steam Support cannot remove this limitation.

It takes a few days for the transactions to show up on Barclays online accounts pages.
